SHINGLES VACCINES AVAILABLE NOW - BOOK TODAY IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE
From 1 September 2023, more people will be eligible for the shingles vaccine. As well as people aged 70 to 79, you'll be eligible: when you turn 65 (if you turned 65 before 1 September 2023, you'll be eligible for the vaccine when you turn 70) if you're aged 50 or over and have a severely weakened immune system.

Great News to all our patients.
ASA Medical Practice are offering both telephone and face to face appointments across all 3 sites on a daily basis. Not all appointments are bookable on the day only we do operate a system with advanced bookings also.
We also have a new function on our telephone system. If you join the queue and do not wish to stay on the line you can use our call back system, this will allow you to put the telephone down but keeps your place in the queue and one of our call handlers will call you back when it reaches your call.

We are a Training Practice
In partnership with Sheffield University we accommodate training for GP Registrars and medical students.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

The main doors of the Health Centre are automatic and the new building includes fully up to date facilities. The Practice operates from the ground floor. There is a practice wheelchair available for use as one of the corridors is quite lengthy. For the security of the building CCTV cameras have been installed. Bus route number 82

Patient Information
Please keep the practice up to date with all contact details, including mobile numbers so we can keep you up to date by text.
We have disabled access and toilets, and a car park for the use of our patients.
To obtain any test results please contact the surgery after 12.00 noon. Please note between 8.00am-12.00pm the telephone lines are very busy dealing with urgent requests.
All samples must be brought into practice and handed into reception before 12.00 noon.
