Telephone Issues

As you may be aware, the Surgery has been having some issues with our telephone system recently. We would like to assure patients that we are aware of the issue and are working to get a resolution as soon as possible.

Lunchtime Closures

From Friday 31st March 2023, the Surgery will be closed every lunchtime between 12:30 and 13:30.

Changes to the Termination of Pregnancy Service (effective 15/04/20)

During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there have been changes made to the Termination of Pregnancy Service. During this time patients can self-refer to the Service direct without requiring an appointment with a GP. To access this service, please call 01382 496762 between 0800-1700, Monday to Friday.

SMS Messaging

We are pleased to announce that Tay Court Surgery are now using a SMS messaging service to improve our communication with patients. We are using this service to replace the clinic invites which we currently send via the post and to send appointment reminders for selected clinics. We also use it to contact patients with test results. If you wish to register for this service please let us know by contacting our Reception.

Accident & Emergency -> For acute injuries such as Cuts and minor burns, Sprains and strains, Suspected broken bones and fractures
Your Local Pharmacy -> For Minor Ailments such as Colds, Cold sores, Rashes, Sore throats, Diarrhoea or constipation, Indigestion, Aches & pains, Help & advice about repeat prescriptions
NHS Dentist -> For dental issues such as Tooth pain, Swelling to your mouth, Injury to your mouth, Painful or bleeding gums, Advice on oral hygiene
NHS24 (111) -> For non life-threatening medical emergencies and for Out-of-Hours non-emergency advice which cannot wait until the GP Surgery is next open

Please note that we no longer accept prescription requests via email. You must have registered for the new service to continue ordering your prescription online. If you have already registered for our new service then please click the icon below to order your prescription.
