junior doctors will be striking in Wales on 25th - 29th March 2024. Our surgery will remain open during this time. Unfortunately, the strike will impact our service availability and you are likely to find the service busier than normal during this time. We recommend trying the following services, if you are having difficulty in accessing our care.

Welcome to Taff Vale Practice

Our practice aims to provide good quality accessible family health care from surgeries based in your communities. We provide a range of services that allows us to reflect your needs both health and social care.

As well as the clinical team we have management and support staff to help deliver a wide range of services. Some of these services are centered at one surgery so that the right staff with the right equipment and back up are available.

We have branches in Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd and Glyncoch. Our aim is to see patients as close to their homes as possible for routine appointments, however this means we can also offer emergency appointments in any branch to improve availability for emergencies.

All our surgeries have access for the disabled. We are a long established GP Partnership with services provided by a Primary Health Care Team, consisting of GP’s, nurses, pharmacy, physiotherapy, mental health, administrative and reception staff. We are a Training practice for GP registrar, foundation doctors and medical students.

Please note, Econsults are only accepted Monday to Friday 8am to 4.45pm but may close earlier if the practice reaches capacity for the day. You can submit a request again from 8am the next day.
