The Department of Health have implemented some changes to the vaccination programme which has had a direct effect on how the practice can organise clinics. The Chief Medical Office has introduced a different vaccine dependent on your age.
Vaccines are restricted and will be delivered in 3 staggered deliveries between October and November. As a result the Department of Health has asked all GP practices to prioritise specific groups of patients.

Welcome to Notting Hill Medical Practice
Notting Hill doctors' surgery in Newtownabbey provides the highest quality healthcare to patients in the area. Our doctors, nurses and all our other staff are dedicated to offering a professional service and this surgery website will help us to keep all our patients up to date with news and information about our practice. Notting Hill is a NIMTA training Practice and you may on occasion meet new GPs.

History
Our practice started 150 years ago in Whiteabbey Village. It was originally situated in a house called 'Notting Hill' which is familiar to many of our local families. We moved from Notting Hill to our present location in the health centre in 1967. In 2004 we decided to use the original name of 'Notting Hill Medical Practice'.
The surgery has disabled car parking spaces close to the building. The surgery entrance, consultation rooms and toilets are suitable for wheelchair access.

Please note our main front doors are not opened until 08:30 each morning. Reception is closed from 12.30 pm until 1 pm daily. From June we will be closing every Tuesday afternoon except on Bank Holiday and Training dates.
There will be training afternoons on occasional Wednesdays between the months of September and June. These will be advertised on posters in the health centre when the dates are confirmed. There will always be a recorded message on the phone system for emergencies whilst training is taking place.
